Why does the author feel that whites owe King the greatest debt?

Whites owe king the greatest dept because he got them out of hundreds of years of thinking whites are better than blacks. Without him America would not truly be the leader of a free world. King was the right man at the right time because without him blacks probably wouldn't have had the same rights as whites. It was the right time because a few things had just happened in history for example the Rosa Parks bus boycott and the Emmitt Hill killing. Those things really set up his case. MLK wouldn't not have liked what has happened to his "I have a dream" quote because Ward Connerly insists that MLK would be marching alongside him in his quest to have racial preferences.
